✈️ Step-by-Step Guide: How to Register in eTravel Philippines (2026)

The eTravel system is the official online platform required by the Philippine government for all travelers (Filipinos and foreigners) entering or leaving the country. It replaces the paper-based arrival and departure cards and serves as a unified digital system for immigration, health, and border control.

You must register within 72 hours before your arrival or departure. Registration is FREE.

✅ Step 1: Go to the Official Website

Visit https://etravel.gov.ph

⚠️ Only use the official website. The government warns against fake or scam websites that charge fees.

✅ Step 2: Choose “Arrival” or “Departure”

Select based on your travel purpose:

  • Arrival Registration – if you are entering the Philippines
  • Departure Registration – required for all departing Filipino passengers

Note: Foreigners departing the Philippines are currently not required to register.

✅ Step 3: Provide Your Personal Information

Fill in the following details:

  • Full Name (as shown in passport)
  • Birthday, Gender, Nationality
  • Valid Passport Number
  • Date of Passport Issuance (new required field for 2026)
  • Recent personal photo (new requirement)
  • Active email address

✅ Step 4: Enter Travel Details

  • Type of traveler (Air / Sea)
  • Flight number or vessel name
  • Date and port of arrival/departure
  • Seat number (if available)
  • Country of origin or destination

✅ Step 5: Provide Address Information

  • For Filipinos: Local residence (complete address in the Philippines)
  • For Foreigners: Hotel, resort, or place of stay in the Philippines

✅ Step 6: Fill Out Health Declaration

You may be asked:

  • Recent travel history
  • Current symptoms (if any)

This is part of the Electronic Health Declaration Card (eHDC).

✅ Step 7: Review and Submit

Double-check all your details and submit the form online.

✅ Step 8: Get Your QR Code

After submission, you will receive a QR Code:

  • Green QR Code – cleared for faster processing
  • Red QR Code – requires manual verification

Save the QR Code on your phone or print a copy. You will need it at the airport.
